I have been going to Highland for years. For Christmas I was given a couples massage. I called to have it done and she said she would not honor my gift certificate. I advised her it was illegal and I would contact an attorney and she said go ahead and do so. I filed a complaint with the attorney general''s office as well where I found out I am not their only victim. I would never use their service again. They stole $300. From me alone.

I booked one of their February specials for my sister and I. Mistakenly we were scheduled for the wrong package. I understand mistakes happen but waiting for an hour, being told repeatedly someone would come get us for our next service, is unacceptable. To top it of the manager brought out the appointment book to show the wrong package written down. This evidence only proves you're not only incompetent but also rude.

This place is so unorganized!! Nobody knows what they are doing there!! The owner is the rudest person I have ever met Don't understand how that place is still open. My facial was really fast and the girl made my skin feel worse and I couln't relax during my massage because the nail people kept walking by in high heels making click click noises. And the spa is designed so trashy and outdated.

I, my girls, girl parties have gone here for years . The staff is always warm,fun accomadating, and professional. The mothers day parties are special.is our fun place to go.

My father purchased a gift certificate for me when my sister died. I assumed the cert. would be good for a year. It was for 6 months. When I realized the expir. date was 1 mo overdue I called to extend knowing my 94 yr old Dad spent about $75. No way would they honor it. I offered to purchase a second one to help but they wouldn't discuss with me. Asked for the owner to call to discuss. No response. I own a business and have extended gift certificates, glad to have a customer who wants my product! I believe extending this was a simple way to make a customer happy. They have my Dad's money. Don't tell me they would lose anything in honoring an extension. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the poor way this was NOT handled. I'm not asking for anything free. I will spread my discontent with many, many people. Not good for business. A sad comment on Highlands Spa customer service.

I love the Highlands Day Spa. They are very generous with making their customers happy. I would say besides having top notch therapist, customer service ranks right up there. They have monthly specials that I get in on, and their student clinic is highly respected in our community. Those students go to offices and work on customers. Thank you Highlands Day Spa for making it very reasonable for people to keep treating themselves nice every once in a while (even with this economy).

I go out of my way to tell everyone I know how unbelievably poor the owner/manager's customer service practices are. They will not honor gift certificates in any way, shape, or form if they have expired. Even if you offer to offset the cost to accomodate rate increases, or offer to purchase equal services to introduce a friend to their spa. I spoke directly to the owner/manager to offer some compromise for my expired gift certificate, won through an Alzheimer's fundraiser. She was cold, unaccomodating and, in my estimation, exceptionally uneducated in true customer service and sales techniques. Additionally, since this experience, I have found this is a common practice with this company. So sad.

Wow how shocking to get my 12 friends and I in at the same time to a relaxing but fun party... I got to bring my own food and my good friends,,,we sat in the same room and drank mimosas and wine and each had footbaths, massages and hair and face muds How Fun! The staff was friendly and helpful and even suggested a resturant in town for lunch afterward (even gave us directions and called to make sure a table would be open) We would have gone to their restuarant in the spa...Flur de sel but they didnt open until 5pm...this place is definately a hidden gem.
