Portsmouth Christian Schools is a Christian school located in Portsmouth, Va. The school was founded in 1965 and is a ministry of the Biltmore Baptist Church located in Virginia. It serves students in grades one through 12. The school s fine arts department includes art, band and choir. Its National Honor Society serves students in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. The school offers several sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, soccer, football, golf, cheerleading, softball and volleyball. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, science, social studies, science, language arts and physical education. Portsmouth Christian Schools is accredited by Association of Christian Schools International that is recognized by the state of Virginia as an accrediting body for Christian schools.
