I bought my kids some hamsters there and I found little black bugs in the take home box and they wont stop itching I called them asked what it was and if they had any med for it and the girl I talked to gave me the worst attitude because the bugs was mites I found out from the vet

Seems to be well stocked with a good variety of items but the stench was bad I couldn't stay long enough to find out - back to Pet Smart where they manage to avoid going "nose blind" to their clientele

I purchased a cockatiel from Mocha Pet 3 weeks ago and we took the upmost care of it. We made sure it had fresh water and feed, a snack treat, toys, clean cage, and my girlfriend would sit and talk to it for an hour everyday. We woke up this morning and it was roosting, we looked over five minutes later and it had dropped dead. We called Mocha Pet to see about reimbursement or possibly a replacement bird and they said "We have had these birds for 6 months, and haven't had a problem yet. So it's something you did." My girlfriend did all the research for proper care of the cockatiel and I know it wasn't something we did. It's a known fact that birds from pet stores are known to be I'll from time to time. All I ask is that they would have been a little more courteous and say that it wasn't in their policy to provide a reimbursement/replacement, they didn't have to be so rude.

I went in to this store to buy a turtle, and before I could even get to the counter with it, the woman assisting me made me feel as though I was ignorant and poor by telling me that I pretty much needed to spend $200-$300 just on supplies. I honestly felt like this associate was just trying to make money, she made no attempt to ask me what my budget was. When I go in to let my son see the animals, and that lady is in there, I LEAVE. Very Rude Staff. And most animals ARE NOT TAME.
