I cannot remember a worse experience than the one we had with "Safeway" storage. I returned after 9 months to find the water pouring in on our stuff. We lost a new Queen bed, an old family dresser and a nightstand. As he watched it rain on our belongings, the manager said to me, "we don't guarantee anything." That's right. "Safeway" storage does not even promise to keep your stuff out of the rain. I mean, what exactly was it that we were paying for? Our insurance did not cover damage that they reasonably thought was the fault of the "Safeway." We got no compensation. No money back. The place is also crawling with rodents. There were turds all over our stuff. Do yourself a favor and find a storage business that has at least some small sense of business ethics.
