Ron did a bathroom remodel that should have taken approx 3 weeks to do. 11 weeks later he was still working on it and one day just stopped showing up altogether. When I mentioned the extensive delay and maybe we should negotiate an end date and penalty if the job wasn’t completed by said date, he exploded on me verbally, packed up all of his tools and stormed off after he he had just cashe a $3500 check to continue the job. He couldn’t keep his helpers. I saw three of them quit on him in the 11 weeks he was at my house. The earliest I saw Ron show up on the job was 11:00 am. 12:30-1:00 pm was his typical start time. I wound having to have another contractor come in and finish the job, and fix numerous mistakes Ron had made in the construction of the bathroom. Do yourself a favor and avoid this guy. He is not worth the headache and extra cost of having to have someone come in behind him to do the job right.
