I had been going to Hair Colour Concepts for over 3 years, until I had a beyond horrible experience with Jessica. I wanted more highlights in my hair, that morning she was also doing hair for another client. I was left under the dryer to process for a long time and never checked. When timer went off I still sat and had to wait for her. That was the day all my hair started falling out and breaking off all over. My hair is long, half way down my back, it broke off and fell out all around the frame of my face and the sides, where other highlights had been applied. I received full refund upon calling without even asked to be seen, in my opinion not even close to compensate for my loss, $200. She said that I should see a dermatologist over the phone it was not anything she did wrong. She was very quick to blame my chemistry as the reason, while my whole head of hair, what I have left, feels like dry straw and has crumbled away. Every hair is split, frazzled, a mess. You can see my scalp through my hair. I am reminded everyday as I try to restore it, I bought Ovation cell therapy which has helped a little bit as it is growing out the new growth is now about 2 inches long is coming in with my hair that is 36 inches long. She said she did not overlap highlights, again wrong, for some of what's left is bleached extremely and broken off. While I was under the dryer I felt itchy and when I reached into my hair I had a handful of hair. She refunded my money because she didnt want me to give her a bad review she said "it's her lively hood". She seemed irritated with me and said "I'm canceling your next appointment, I do not want to do your hair again"! Wow, after over 3 years as a client this is how it ended, no apologies, no sympathy. I put my trust in thinking she knew what she was doing and I was very wrong. It took me 3 months to post this, I argued with myself whether I should or not. I want people that go here, or anywhere, to realize that this could happen to you. Speak up if you are left unattended or think something is wrong. I finally got my roots colored 3 months later at a different business, I was afraid to do anything after this horrible experience. She was amazed that not even one hair was in the sink after processing when she washed it. This was caused by neglect of this stylist. It will take years due to the length of my hair to get back to normal, until then I would not ever recommend Hair Colour Concepts, I am living proof of a neglected client.

Great Results & Great Products. But Double the Price. They charge twice as much as anywhere else for the same thing.
