As an employee (former) I realized that this company is a complete joke. They are out to rip off there customers. I was told on almost a daily basis not to worry about the work that wasn't completed. (The work that the customer had already paid for) just do what you can and cover the rest. This issue is an ongoing this and the customers of this company will at least be notified of what is going on. One of there customers is a very proactive guy and actually goes behind and looks but does not look at all the actual completed (or lack there of) work his focus is on filters and belts. Which we were also told by the owner and CEO of the company we should not be replacing all the belts only if they absolutely need them. Don't mind the fact that the customer is paying for it and capstone put it in the contract. The so called made up position of lead tech is a role basically to make them feel good. They don't actually do anything lead tech worth. I was also told by my lead tech in NC not to replace all of the belts and not to worry about all the incomplete paid for work. because we as techs won't make any money. Sounds to me like he is just concerned about his profit and personal gain. Techs are paid by the hour not the job. But what it amounts to is the profit sharing. Basically the less money you spend the more the company gives you every 6 months. The checks normally range in 10,000 dollar range. So you mean to tell me that the tech is so petty that he won't replace a 12 dollar belt on 9 units. Really. It's already in the contract and you are getting paid. But you wanna clear more profit. This is why capstone loses the good techs and keeps the ones who are petty and don't actually have the skills . There is employees who have to call other techs everyday and ask for help.I really hope that the commercial accounts that capstone has. Or the rest of them anyway. Do an audit and find out the 10s of thousands of dollars worth of work they paid for has never been touched.
