Rose City is the "go to" moving company in my book. But they do so much more than just move your items. I utilized their services to move our office space and they also did the installation of our new furniture and recycled/disposed of the items we weren't taking with us to our new location.. They are professional, hard working and will bend over backwards to ensure you are happy with the results. I can't imagine using any other company in the future. .

Ended Up Paying Double - Don't Believe Their Pricing/Quotes

The actual movers were fine - only two items got broken. (One my fault, because of the way I packed it, and the other was their fault.)The complaint I have is that I was under the impression that the move would cost "X" number of dollars -- but it ended up costing double what I was lead to believe it would cost. They charged me for a second truck that wasn't used, and they also billed for their travel time. I was also charged for 45-minutes the movers took for lunch. My total bill (a 2-way move of less than 5 miles from the original location of each move), came to over $1,850.00 -- WOW!!! I thought it was only going to be around $900, because I was quoted approximately $120.00/hour plus $60.00 for inventorying the items for the second leg of the move - what a surprise! I moved a very small 3-bedroom 2-bath home, with very little furniture, which was all packed and ready to go, into two separte apartments. I was charged 7-hours for the first leg of the first move (the movers only worked for a little less than 5-hours) and 3-hours for the second leg of the move (when the movers really only worked a little less than 2-hours). I am sorry that I didn't stay with the movers I have always used in the past (Two Brother's Moving). As a matter of fact, the person who bought my house used Two Brother's Moving and he had much more furniture than I did, and moved about 20 miles from his original location. His total cost came in at less than $500. Anyway, like I said before, the movers were fine - no better or worse than anyone else, but the prices are out of this world. Do yourself a huge financial favor and find someone else. I feel like I am out $1,000 - that's money I really could have used for something else.

Lack of communication botches move

The guys who showed up to move me were great but they were totally unprepared for my move as there had clearly been no communication between the office and the crew. Because I had a 3 stop move I called several times prior to moving day to be sure all was in place. I never got a return call. As it turned out the crew that showed up was not capable of moving my piano up stairs and so it now sits in a garage, their van did not have the needed TV or art/mirror boxes and as a result an antique dresser mirror was broken (my call about getting it repaired has gone unanswered as well). While the crew worked diligently and conscientiously the job would have gone much more smoothly if they had been clued in as to what was involved. After at least 5 unanswered phone calls it's my intention to go to their office this week. Given my experience I would not recommend Rose City Moving. After the first unreturned call prior to the move I should have called another company!

It couldn't have been simpler!

We interviewed Rose City Moving to do our office move after hearing some good reviews from other tenants in our new building, we actually think they moved us to our old space too but no one could confirm that. Anyways, after meeting with our move consultant we were very confident that Rose City was the right choice for us. In the process of setting up the move we mentioned that we'd be getting some new furniture because our old cubicles didn't fit the new office and we were told that Rose City also has a furniture division - Rose City Office Furniture. Long story short the move went great, the furniture looks great and having a single point of contact for both items made our lives a lot easier.

Professional, courteous, considerate and strong!

We hired Rose City Moving and Storage for our cross-town move of a 3 bedroom house, garage, large shop tools and piano. Everything went incredibly smoothly and the movers were a real pleasure to work with. We had 4 men on the job and they all had great attitudes about getting us moved. We had an awkward couch that they saw as a personal challenge to get were we wanted it in the new house. They were excited to figure out how to get it where it needed to go and happy when it got there. We could not be happier with the level of customer service these guys provided. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and use them again for any future move.

Rose City Moving and Storage is the Best!

Rose City Moving and Storage loaded, transported, and unloaded all the furniture more carefully than even I would. They are moving specialists and really know how to get the job done quickly but very carefully. I would highly recommend them for any moving and storage needs, especially if you have special items that you want to make sure are stored and moved with care.

First Class

We worked with Jason Kiem and Brian Brusseau on moving our office and purchasing 12 recycled cubicles. Everything worked out as planned.
