I have done a lot of business and brought a lot of questions to the men at Ricks. They have impressed with their work and have always been very honest and understanding in my lack of information. Making me feel like a friend and not just a pay check. Which is a very rare quality in the always money hungry world of automotive wrench men. Thank you gentleman.

I have used Ricks for over 10 years I own a small shop TGAutomotive I have never had a problem with them. They have always been up front with me and If there is a problem like bent valves or a crack or just worn parts Tosh calls me right away to inform me of the cost difference I can't expect them to replace parts for free. As a shop owner sometimes after giving a quote before starting a job you sometimes you find more unexpected things wrong with a car. But I have always been pleased with Ricks Cylinder head service.

Well, I used to refer Rick's to everyone I knew up until last week. They have a new manager in the shop, tosh. Until he is no longer employed here, I would stay as far away as possible from Rick's. The price on my cyl head service went from $350, to $450, than to $600 with three days. When My mechanic asked him what was going on, Tosh told him "the cyl head is a bmw. He can afford to pay a little more." My mechanic couldn't believe what he just heard. My mechanic has been using them for 3 years. My mechanic told tosh, pack up all the parts to all my cylinder heads, and give them to me, I don't trust you guys anymore. He took my head and all the valves to another machine shop. Well, Tosh didnt put two valves back in my box of parts. I was extremely irritated, and went straight to Rick's. When I asked him where my valves were, he handed them to us and said "its just two valves, GET OVER IT, JUST LEAVE". Don't use Rick's until Tosh is no longer emplyed. THEY WILL LIE AND RIP YOU OFF!!

I had these guy done a bmw head a while back. They remove the dual cams on the straight 6 cyl but was not able to or could not put them back. When I came to pick up the head they handed me two bags of my lifter goodies. Nop they were not in sitted in its' holder. Great job. My 70 year old mechanic dad that never worked on bmw before put the cams in without special tools or problem.



What a joke!!! Small jobs are there specialty!!! Last time I'd deal with these guys.
