Bonita Pioneer also maintains a fully-staffed art department, which has the ability to create coordinated packaging presentations. In 2005, the company was named the Retail Packaging Association Manufacturer of the Year. Bonita Pioneer is located in Portland, Ore. In 1999, the company purchased the assets of the Winnipeg-based Daishowa packaging division. The division was renamed Red River Packaging Products.
