Dear Princeton Property Management

Hi This is Jacob Kane Kanduch,

I am Honorable US Navy Veteran who deals with Chronic Anxiety and have a Pet Companion thru the VA. I also and am an Native American Indian of which my father is Chief of the Seneca Cayuga Tribe in Grove Oklahoma. I also hold down a very good job at Xerox Business Services for Apple.com. I have always payed rent faithfully for over 1 and half now at Creekside Commons with a couple slow pay on the 5th instead of 4th due to issue beyond my control. I received a notice of Termination that has inaccurate dates and I am going to dispute it and be advised by a Tenants Rights Lawyer, because it is uncalled for and I feel mislead and you have made it difficult for me to pay my rent. There was one incident back in August where a rent check was cashed late by Management and a portion of funds became unavailable to me due to banking issue that was resolved quickly. You charged me a total of over 300 dollars for late rent after I had paid on time but had issue and told me I could not pay using check anymore (I paid the fee). I paid on time the in September and then this October on the 1st-5th, I was on business to San Francisco. The Manager Sara told me I could pay online to make it easier incase I was away or unable to make money order because I have no car. So, I tried to pay my rent for October on princetonproperty.com, I get paid direct deposit on American Express card, when I tried to pay my rent online on time, it said we cannot accept American Express. So first thing, on October the 5th Monday Morning, After my flight landed in PDX ( I can show you the Plane Ticket) I took public transportation all the way back to Tigard. I had to walk all the way from Tigard Transit Center to Plaid Pantry to do a Money cause that was the closet place and I do not have car. I thought I would be ok considering the difficulty and situation and that the 4th landed on weekend anyway. I got my Money Order and dropped of before I went to work on the 5th. There was nobody in the office ofcourse (quite common) and a sign was on the door that said "I am at Management Training So I can Become a Better Manager". I was sure all was okay because of my efforts. I had even gotten and wave from the Manager in the parking lot couple of days later and was sure all was fine, I even got an email to renew my insurance from Sara the Manager on October the 12th (Jacob,

It looks like your renters insurance is set to expire tomorrow if payment is not made.

Thanks,

Sarah Villanueva

So I update my Credit card and renewed the Insurance plan for a year like she said.

(Policy Number: ROR4028710

Primary Insured: Jacob K Kanduch

Additional Residents on Policy:

Insured Location: 7645 SW Bonita Rd Apt 24

Tigard, OR 97224

Mailing Address: 7645 SW Bonita Rd 24

Tigard, OR 97224

Policy Start Date

(Effective Date of Coverage): 10/14/2015

Then tonite I get a notice on my door for 10 days Termination saying I paid my rent on the 6th Tuesday, Which is lie, and that I have a Past Due Balance 164.50 for October and 89.50 for non compliance. I would like to speak to the General Mangager and escalate this further due to the harassment and misleading, misinformation and discrimination and making it difficult for me to pay my rent.

This is the worst property management company. I was told that the security deposit check would be made out to just me (as I was the only one of the current residents that had paid it) but when it came in the mail, it was made out to all four residents. When I called the company to ask for a new check, I was transferred to a supervisor who HUNG UP ON ME. This is on top of the sub-optimal living conditions - windows that wouldn't open (and that they wouldn't fix), black mold that covered the bathroom and windows, fleas that arrived every spring, and managers who wouldn't know how to do their job right if their life depended on it. Avoid ALL of their properties. You'll regret moving in.

HORRIBLE experience! This company has put my family at risk. We had a leak in the ceiling in my son's room and I asked the manager if there was a chance for asbestos and she refused to talk about it. We had to pack some bags and move out before they had the MAINTENANCE MAN make repairs (which is so against the law, since there was asbestos). We paid $50 out of pocket to have the ceiling tested and in fact there was asbestos. After showing management this evidence they STILL refused to make the proper repairs. We were without an apartment for over 3 weeks and they would not provide living accommodations for us or anything. Some of our property was ruined. Basically everything was in shambles. They only made the correct repairs when we got DEQ and OSHA involved. Please, if you care about your health DON'T move here.

Moving to Oregon? Live Anywhere Except Andrea Place Apartments . No Matter What! Do Not Rent From Princeton Property Management For Any Reason. Their litany of Fees for Every Little Occurrence (children throwing garbage on the ground will earn you a Non-Compliance Fee of $50.00 - Example 1) Refusal to Work with Residence, and their Refusal to Accommodate residence when their appliances are broken.. My neighbor had to weight a Full 2 Weeks before they would replace or fix her refrigerator. What Ever You Do, Do Not Rent from Princeton Property Management and tell your friends.

On March 28th I signed a lease agreement with Princeton Property management..

The manager read parts of the lease to me, did not let me read it myself, and then said she would see that I received a copy.

When I went to the apartment, four tenants told me that they had serious, longstanding, mold issues in their apartments, that Princeton had not taken care of the mold damage of the apartment of a 70 year old who had to move out, that the management didn't tell incoming tenents about all the problems.

I am so bummed out that I ever signed. They don't treat the outside of the building against mold. Honestly, the whole thing is so awful.

I went to the manager. The manager said that she herself had mold issues. So this wasn't tenents' rumor. It looks like mold is a serious problem here and that they don't do anything.

Apartments are so scarce that I haven't been able to fine another apartment yet, and so I'll have to camp there.

It is now April 10, I still do not have a copy of my lease. The manager wasn't in again today. I called Princeton and asked for one. We'll see. This is a new twist that they don't even provide a copy of the lease.

So far my time there has been a total zero. Nothing positive.. I understand why there are almost no positive comments from others.. Once I googled Princeton property management, that's when I began to see their reputation community wide. This whole thing sucks. They have my money. I'll probably have to move in on the sofa of a friend.

Kalevala Village is a great place to live for apartment living. The management is very friendly and take care of things the way things should be handled. They deal with tenants in a way to keep the community quiet and pleasant for everyone who lives here. I am very happy to be a part of this community.

The apartment that I live in is managed by Princeton and everything goes great. No major problems with the unit, and the move-in process was as easy as could be. I am, and I'm sure I will continue to be, a happy renter.
