A number of things about Julie Frederick will make problems seem instantly worse if she is involved, so you should hope against hope that JULIE FREDERICK doesn't need to happen...



She is totally rude, arrogant and inconsiderate. And these things for absolutely no apparent reason. Normally people to think that they are something special have reasons. Julie Frederick has NONE. No reason to STRUT into a patient's room with a squinty smile and say "Hi, I am a PSYCHOOOOOOLOOGIST.......!!!!!. Yikes, it was a really scary experience.



I was in the hospital being diagnosed for seizures and she came in unannounced, (told me that she was a psychologist, with a squinty cocky smile) sent my lunch away, and told me that I would have to pay 200 dollars for a bunch of tests from her that I had just had, including a full intelligence test. Well, I didn't want the tests, I knew NOHTHING about her qualifications, except that she talked funny, and walked funny, neither of which were very good signs that I would care about what she had to say. I mean seriously, at some point I learned to talk normally... not Julie Frederick. I had learned how to walk without kicking one foot up strangely and making myself look like I was out of "Monty Pyhon's Ministry of Silly walks (including the SILLY SILLY accents). So why would I pay 200 dollars for what Julie Frederick had to tell my neurologist? NONE of these people could even muster normal behavior.



I had just had her partner give me the intelligence test (159 pts btw, 1 pt shy of genius, which could be on my tombstone - doubt Julie Frederick could say so though she acts as if it could be the case, and obviously is NOT).



I told her that I didn't know if I wanted to pay for the tests, because it wasn't clear why I should take the tests agian. My insurance might not pay because I had just had them. She started SHREIKING. Seriously, it was SHRIEKING, I have never heard a woman her age do anything similar. ARE YOU REFUSING THE TEST? (She SHREIKED).



She asked permission to tell my neurologist, Mark Yerby, about my "refusal" which was really just caution until I had heard whether my insurance test would pay. Big mistake on my part, because she basically went to him and WHINED that I had "refused" the test, but it was as if it was the worst thing you could have done to Julie Frederick - IE inconvenience her. This is a woman who would never think about anyone else's convenience ever, but would WHINE and SHRIEK if her own is disturbed.



I had the whole hospital staff thinking I was evil by the time I left the hospital, for doing nothing worse than inconveniencing JULIE FREDERICK. An unpardonable sin. I had the tech at St. Vincent's neurology/seizure lab purposefully yanking the glue out of my hair REALLY HARD to let me feel that I had been a really bad girl. After a week of being sleep deprived and not being allowed to get out of my bed without an alarm going off, this tech guy was YELLING at me and telling me what a bad person I was for "refusing the tests." He didn't even know what he was talking about, other than JULIE FREDRICK had been shrieking and complaining. So anyone should know that St. Vincent in Portand has a seizure evaluation center that treats their patients like they are in PRISON WARDS, purposefully wired to their beds, forced to talk to Julie Fredrick (and pay for the priveledge) and then have her earn her usefullness by declaring you crazy.



There is a reason she doesn't announce herself. No one who knows anything about her would let her anyhwere near them.
