Provided by YP.comMy husband & I moved across the country for work so we rented the property sight unseen after talking with the owner, Linda Kreitzberg. She and her husband made a lot of promises about the condition of the property, but being short on time we had few options. The Gresham property was very poorly constructed (very high utility bills due to absence of insulation) and overpriced for the area. Identical properties in the neighborhood currently rent for $200 - $300 less than what we paid. They couldn't even tell us where our mailbox was. The unit was filthy & stunk so badly we had to spread several pounds of baking soda and hang air fresheners everywhere throughout our lease period. The unit was never painted, just touched up with whatever was on hand w/o regard to match. The appliances were deplorable (e.g., the fridge freezes food). We tried to get the heating fixed (no heat) and the guy parked on the lawn. Grid sent us a nasty gram threatening us for what their contractor did! Another time they told us the dead rat we found one evening after work wasn't their problem. We coped by finding reasons not to be there. We even bought a new home and moved two months before our lease was up just so we wouldn't have to be there. It wasn't until we gave notice that we even saw someone from Grid when they showed the unit to the new tenant who is now paying $100 more than us (poor sod). The property is rundown yet they advertised it as in meticulous condition, an outright lie. On the phone their reps are trite and curt, in person they are just horribly miserable people with huge chips on their shoulder. We left the unit in better condition than we found it: they wrote us a letter saying it looked "fantastic" and then deducted $250 from our security deposit to "fix and clean" the unit. All that after the two page list of things that had to be done before we were permitted to leave that included cleaning the carpets (costing us another $200), which we feel is the owner's responsibility. They clearly took advantage of us to pad their pockets. Please heed the warnings and don't deal with this company.

Provided by YP.comThis company is a SHAME! I rented from these people for over a year (I would have moved sooner but their lease requires you pay the remainder of the lease if you break it) and when it was time to move out of that god forsaken home with nothing but a history of horrors, this property management gave me a whole list of unfounded reasons as to why they were deducting from my deposit. They refused to answer my emails and calls when I tried to contact them regarding this. They took about $1000 out of my $1600 deposit. This is how they make their money. Having lived in over 20 rentals around the country from property management companies and private owners, never once having my deposit deducted, I was shocked at GRID's business practices. On YELP, another person described their experience with this company as "r*pe". Not surprised. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
