The British Brush Chimney Sweep, Inc. is a local, family owned business that has been featured in the Portland Tribune Newspaper for being an outstanding full service traditional chimney cleaning company serving the greater Portland, Oregon area. Having been in business since 1994, we have worked with many clients that look forward to our visit before the winter months. We treat our customers' homes with the utmost care when performing our services.  All cleanings include a free safety inspection. We clean and inspect: Fireplaces Wood stoves and wood stove inserts Dampers Spark arrester rain caps (standard & custom styles/sizes available) A spark arrester cap will keep out rain. It will also keep out birds, squirrels and other critters as well as leaves and debris. Any kind of blockage in the flue can choke a fire, causing smoke and dangerous carbon monoxide fumes to spill back into the room. A cap can also reduce the risk of a roof fire. We are licensed, bonded and insured with Oregon CCB 122166.
