I've bought two 4x4's from Auto Lane over the past 5 years. Those two rigs are still running strong. I'm not saying that all of their salesman are honest, but Annie has done me right twice now!

Sorry, no stars!!! What a dishonest group of people. Please save yourself and go s

Someone else. Any good review must have been written by them or family nembers. They will lie to you and rip you off. My son-in-law went there in goid faith and they blocked his car in and would not him leave as he was two days late, according to them, with a payment. He paid $5,000 cash and owed $1,600 and they would not let him leave until he paid the full amount. There went their rent money etc. They had asked him to come down to make up a payment plan. Blocked him in and wouldn't let him get in his car or leave. WTF Don't go there!!!! Don't trust these people!!!!

Beware of the conniving, lowlife, scammers at Auto Lane. They will sell you a "diamond" that turns out to be nothing more than a fire roasted dog turd on a stick that isn't even safe enough for your worst enemy to drive. They will even tell you that nothing is wrong with your "new to you" "diamond" but you will find out that there is major mechanical and safety issues wrong AND it WILL COST THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS!!! You will have your dreams of getting a nice vehicle shattered and crushed beyond all comprehension. When you try to work things out with them you'll be told to take it to their "mechanic" however with the issues you face, you won't be able to take it anywhere because the vehicle will be unsafe to drive.

My "diamond" has an array of serious issues and shouldn't have been sold.. The major issues are as follows..

1) front 4x4 driveline missing.
2) front and rear differential shot.
3) no oil
4) no rear suspension
5) no emergency brake, line had been cut.
6) no working horn.
7) no dash lights.
8) front control arm ball joints upper and lower all shot.
9) rear wheel seals leaking and shot.
10) weak transmission
11) complete rear end air ride suspension missing, gone, pulled apart hanging in the wind...

so I hope you take my advice and steer clear of these rotten low life scum bags, all they want is to screw an unsuspecting person over and once they have your money you're as good as f****d. they do not care about your safety and wellbeing or the safety and well-being of your children and family.

James and Perry did a very good job helping my wife and I select a truck. I wasn't interested in any other used lot on 82nd except for theirs. It took some time to pick out the right vehicle, but they patiently dealt with us until the proper selection could be made at the right price. Couldn't be happier with the rig I rolled out with. Checked out well when I took it to the Chevy dealership for a thorough inspection.

Thanks guys!

After years of paying for everything in cash, and never financing anything other than my cell it was time to upgrade my vehicle situation.
Don Nutt was able to work with my credit situation (having a good paying job did help) and got me into a full sized F250, lifted FX4.
Financing wasn't something I was very knowledgeable on, but Don got me set up with payments much lower than I was expecting.
I even tried to check them on their inventory knowledge, but was pleasantly surprised with how much they actually know about what they sell.
If I could give them a higher rating I would!
Ask for Don, he'll hook you up!

I went to autolane a couple of weeks ago to look at trucks. I was looking for a reliable truck to pull my horse trailer with. Adam pressured me into finding out about financing right off the bat. I ended up coming home with a new truck. As soon as I got finished signing all the paperwork I went to roll the drivers window down, it didn't work. In fact nothing on that drivers side switch works at all. Adam blabbed about some wire being unplugged etc. Whatever! It needs a new switch. Then I was driving the truck this past weekend and the check engine light came on. It is throwing the p003a code. Which means that something with the diesel turbo vanes aren't relearning etc. I'm waiting to hear back from my mechanic if this will be an easy fix or not. Super disappointed that I've dropped 16000 on a truck I now make monthly payments on and now have to worry about money having it repaired. I should have googled this company while waiting for financing to go through. What a bunch of crooks!

I live in the Columbia River Gorge, north of White Salmon WA. I drive 15 miles just to get into town, so I needed a reliable vehicle to get me around. I decided to go to a dealership in Portland, instead of purchase from a person, like off Craigslist. I purchased a 2002 Nissan Xterra from AutoLane, March 2nd, 2015. The next week of driving made me very nervous. I discovered an oil leak, I needed to add a Quart of oil every 100 Miles (Which is almost every other day, because I do a lot of driving). The engine began to knock, a sign the engine was not going to last long, but I thought I had a least a year, then I could afford the engine swap. 1500 miles later the engine threw the rod completely through the block, coming home at 10:30pm one night. Thank goodness for insurance & towing. Once at my trusted mechanic in Hood River I was informed of a number of other issues. The knock sensor was dead, the U joint is toast, the transmisson was heading out....and the smaller things keep mounting. I still owe my mechanic $500, and I have already paid $5000. This is really devastating to me, I paid cash, $7500 for the Xterra, only to have to drop another $5500 one month after the purchase. I am self employed, so I very tight on cash, but had been saving money all winter. I am a farmer, my farm Snowed In Produce grows organic veggies, fruit and herbs that I sell at the local farmers market. I also make natural stone and wire wrapped jewelry, Zen Lotus Design. I am a mother of a beautiful 4-year-old. When I bought this vehicle, I thought it was my last car purchase for a long time, this is my transportation in a very rural area, this is my means to make money, driving to markets weekly. I have been screwed by AutoLane, don't let it happen to you!

Please do not buy here. You will waste your time and money. They will trick you out of your money and will lead you on to think they will fix your car but they dont. They just want you to think that so they can get money. Last time i went they tricked me to come in so they could fix what was wrong with my car. Once I got there they blocked me in so that i would pay them for being a day late in the payment because i had to pay them for a previous problem. Thing is they cant do that to you unless you are 90 days late. They just wouldnt let me leave. They are horrible people. I had also told them to give my title and they did not ever give it to me. I can go on for days...im saving you guys. Do not go here....They are begging me to take this post done because they have to pay so please put a bad review on everything like my whole family is currently doing.

I would absolutely recommend this used car lot to my friends and family.

I love the way they all worked as a team and listened to what we where looking for, needed and wanted in a truck. They where not pushy but very helpful!! We are very pleased with our purchase not only did we leave in a new truck we left feeling like we have made new friendships!!

Amazing!...that these crooks are still in business. Excellent Service...according to whom, the phony reviews they are posting?

Easy and Personable? Well, why wouldn't they be...when their only goal is to cheat you out of your money !

DO NOT believe ANY of the positive reviews. They are completely phony...just look at the way they are written..." I received excellent service today and my salesman, Chris, was awesome. Very easy to work with and very reasonable. I will do business in the future again with Autolane and will refer them more customers. " (Same EXACT review by 2 different people 10 days apart) What a joke!!

Nice review Chris! You are the biggest liar of all the liars that work at this awful place !

People who have good experiences rarely take the time to post complimentary reviews.

People who have BAD experiences more often join a social media website just to WARN others. That is most assuredly the case with Auto Lane. Want an example? Look at 1969guy 03/11/2013, then look at Gralstin@cadetco.com G. 06/01/2014. This is the same person and he is still mad-as-hell at Auto Lane after more than a year !!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS & THIEVES !!!

Liars and untrustworthy

My husband and I live 3 1/2 hours away from Portland. My husband drives log truck so that means he is awake at all kinds of hours. Anyways he called about a 2007 Chevy diesel truck. Asked him if there was ANYTHING wrong and what was the miles. Joseph told my husband 150,000. We had a friend call about the SAME truck and Joseph told him 150,000 as well. My husband and his friend left to go to Portland thinking that he was truthful with them. They drove 3 1/2 hours and when they got there. They were LIED to. The truck had over 200,000 miles on it. I would stay away and steer clear of that place!! They wasted our time and not to forget $$ for gas to get up there. What a mean selfish man he is.

Easy and personable service. Sales team are friendly enough. However, I purchased a total lemon of a diesel ram truck from these guys. After spending almost 5k in previous repairs, I have now found out that the fuel injectors are faulty. At $500 a piece (6 times), I can no longer be silent about this serious abuse of poor sales/business practice. Buyer be ware! Autolane does sell used cars for a competitive price, but the quality and longevity of those cars are ruined - which reflects Autolane's reputation. Quite simply, Autolane sells damaged goods that needs repair. After many lost dollars, and sleepless nights, I could not be more un-satisfied with my purchase from Autolane. Keep away from them like the Black Plague! Oh, and trade ins? You mind as well keep your trade in. They don't offer scratch for what you think it's worth. However, it you attempt to settle, don't let them drive it in as I did. They ruined my transmission on my trade in and then called me back to say they can't accept any vehicle that doesn't make it into their parking lot! Can you imagine this? They not only screw you by selling you damaged goods, but they cost you even more by damaging your trade in and then re-nig on the agreement - all while leaving me stuck with the tow bill! Stay far away from this place! It's the mother of all financial black holes!

Don't ever go here to buy a car. We bought a 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup that looked pretty good but now we have discovered that the motor is shot and they won't take it back and only offered to give us $1,000 towards a $5,000 needed repair and only if it breaks down in the next year. We don't have that kind of money. We asked them to take the car back and even offered to let them keep half our down payment. Avoid these crooks!!
