I would recommend Paul Diou to anyone looking for an experienced, friendly, honest and professional real estate agent in the greater Portland area. My wife and I had worked with several realtors prior to finding Paul and we were a bit disillusioned with the home-buying process as a result of those less-than-perfect experiences. We were immediately impressed with Paul's professionalism, knowledge and how well prepared he was at each showing. Not only was he a great listener, he also is a fountain of knowledge and was able to educate us about many details of the home buying process including wiring, foundation and plumbing issues, radon mitigation (an important topic throughout much of Maine) and more as we searched for our first home. Throughout our home search we always felt like Paul's #1 priority even though he always has numerous clients (always a good sign - it confirms how good he is and means he has his finger on the pulse of the local real estate market). A tremendous asset through the negotiation process, Paul was available right up until closing (he even brought us flowers on the morning we closed - one more way he goes above and beyond). The rebate was icing on the cake ... a classy tip of his cap and thank you to his clients - one more reason to enthusiastically recommend Paul Diou and Maine Realty LLC.
