Dr. Welch was thorough and kind.

Dr. Welch explained - as I understood him - that I would most likely need to increase my dosage level of my medication soon, pending the results of my blood work. I wished he had explained more what he described as the "iterations" of cardiologic care and practice in this regard.

In general, it was a good experience. I was attended by a female Doctor (forgot her name) and Dr Joseph Amirian. Both of them carefully listened to me and gave their opinions. I am happy with my visit to Manhattan cardiologist.

Excellent. However, must take issue with what seemed like a bait-and-switch.

While I made an appointment to see Dr. Welch, when I arrived the nurse practitioner told me he was unavailable and was doing administrative work. After I complained, Dr. Welch did indeed see me, which I appreciate. However, if I make an appointment to see a specific doctor, I expect to see that physician, not someone else. If the office cannot guarantee that I see the doctor of my choice, I will move to another practice.

Nurse Practitioner Topilow was extremely attentive

....for all my other doctors. Since I typically have my nose in my Kindle when he walks in and he wants to know what I am reading; then we have a brief book discussion. I usually have a few questions and he always takes the time to provide thorough and thoughtful answers.

Dr. Welch is an amazing doctor. Ever since taking over my care from Dr. Segal with all my medical problems, he makes
me feel safe. I had a stroke last Monday and was hospitalized for a week. I’m 39 years old and was scared as anyone my age would be. I appreciated him explaining everything and taking his time today making sure I understood everything. I left the appointment with a plan and spoke with my team of doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Welch.

Dr. George Welch has proven to be both helpful, efficient and willing to take time to make sure I've gotten a clear understanding of proposed procedures

Dr. Welch is friendly, but professional; I like his manner. I do wish that he had gone into more detail about the results of my cardia stress test. About all he said was your heart is fine, which made me feel good. Later, I began to think about what might not be fine since I know there are some symptoms of heart murmur and I have high blood pressure, which goes quit high in emotionally stressful situations. While his one-liner was reassuring, I would have appreciated a sit-down review with more information.

I would also suggest a rewriting of the pre-test instructions and would be happy to provide detailed comments, if anyone is interested.

Routine Cardio Exam. Clearly explained my test results, what they mean, and course of action to lower my cholesterol and track my bp.

The Manhattan Cardiology team is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Welch took the time to explain my initial EKG and Cartoid sonogram. My impression is that he is very thorough and genuinely concerned with his patient health and overall wellbeing.

I came in for what I thought would be a quick and simple check up and it turned out to be one of the most intense, informative and satisfying experiences I've ever had in a doctor's office. They checked me from head to toe and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks! I was scheduled for a stress test the following day and once again, it was a 5 star experience. Again I walked out of there confident that I am in good health. Many thanks to Dr. Welch, his PA, Jillian Studin, who is simply awesome and the technicians that performed my tests. The entire staff is one of the best offices I've ever visited.

Thank you both to Dr. Welsh and Dr. Wester. My appointment started on time and they were thorough and attentive. They took time to answer my questions and showed me the test results on screen.

My one complaint is not with the doctors but rather with the absolutely dismal phone services that Manhattan Cardiology and MOM have. It is nearly impossible to get through, to the point where we have had to physically go to the offices in person in order to get simple stuff done. Please look into this and try calling yourselves from a number that’s not your own to experience what patients go through. You may be losing patients unbeknownst to you.

George and his team were very accommodating and efficient in their work. Every member was professional and competent. The service was very good in every aspect. Overall a very good first experience at Manhattan Cardiology.

The level of care that Dr. Welch provided has been unparalleled. We immediately began the appropriate testing, and he listened to my concerns while assuring me that there was nothing to worry about. I'm very appreciative of his time and insights!
