I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get it the very next day. I thought my kids would be afraid of the dentist but the assistant was very nice and helpful to both of my kids. The receptionist also made there appointment convenient for me to to my work schedule. Thank you again.

My first experience with Dr. Pournik was amazing! I was extremely nervous and both doctor and her staff made me feel better. They constantly reassured me that I would be okay and that she was the best person to see. She was so sweet that I didn't even feel the injection part that I was dreading. I wish I would have visited her years ago.

My husband & I started seeing Dr. Pournik in November of 2013. At that time, there were some problems with the front office staff. However, on our recent visit, we didn’t encounter any problems at all. My husband & I both love Dr. Pournik. She’s an excellent dentist. She’s very caring & conscientious. She keeps you well informed of what she’s doing as she’s works on you. She works long hours because she never turns anyone away. She sees patients with or without insurance. She takes children’s insurance called CHIPS and MEDICAID. The lobby is full of children of all ages. You can rest assure that you are getting the best possible care and she gives the same amount of care whether you have insurance or not. She is also very personable, not like the other dentists we’ve seen in the past. Even though all of the examining rooms are filled with patients, she will stop to visit with you on a personal level, making the whole dental experience much more enjoyable. Dr. Pournik is the Best!!!

I was very pleased when I had my appointment at Affordable Smiles. Before I even seen Dr. Pournik, the staff there was very amazing and made me feel comfortable in everyway. They talked me through everything they were going to perform before the procedure even started, I did not feel like I was at the dentist office. I am 23 and that was the BEST dentist visit I had ever been to and I would definitely recommend them to others who are in need of dental care. I felt like I was part of a family, this was my first time having a visit with Dr. Pournik and she was absolutely wonderful as well. She was very honest with me and made and also made me feel comfortable with her in my mouth. I must admit when I was transferred to the next room I started to get nervous, there was nothing to be nervous about. The assistance continued to talk to me and that made me feel great knowing that they were not just there to fix the problem , instead it made me feel like the outcome was going to be more than just an "Affordable Smile". There was nothing negative that I can say about my visit and I cannot wait until I go back!

I am a patient of Dr pournik and all I can say is that she is a wonderful lady and very honest dentist, the staff are very nice and helpful. We all have bad moments or days and sometimes we talk bad about others just to relieve our frustration.

They call to confirm appointment twice in the month, one few days before appointment, we get there 40 minutes early and they told us we got there late! !! Stating we got time wrong? !!! Really, got time wrong twice? You won't accept your receptionist made a mistake? And you the "manager" rolling your eyes while I'm talking to you? Wow, they need to get a whole new staff in there.
