HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL- I guess it’s not just mothers with autistic children who receive bad experiences here… I went in to my appointment with a picture of the exact color and cut I wanted, I was looking for something new and exciting and figured an upscale salon would be an excellent place to go for something like that. I did not get anything I asked for; my color and cut were not even close to what I wanted. When I asked the stylist 3 times to please correct and cut my bangs as a picture showed she and the manager / head stylist recommended that I just flip them to the other side of my face… not cut and correct them?!?!? After applying a dark brown hair color (not even remotely close to the light red brown color I requested) dye was left all over my forehead, neck and ears in which I asked her multiple times to remove from my skin and after simply wiping the areas with a wet towel she recommended I go home and try using some alcohol to remove it (skin still stained the next day). My highlights were extremely sporadic and un-even and really brassy in color, which I specifically requested them to be a light blonde. When I expressed to the stylist that I was unhappy with the colors and cut she suggested I come back another time to fix it. In which I responded that would prefer them to be fixed right then. She then offered to apply a toner to try to reduce the brassy color in the highlights (which did not help). After that point she did not say a word to me had a bad attitude which was reflected in her facial expressions and body tone all of which made me extremely uncomfortable. After about 30 minutes of that I and asked her to stop as she was in the middle of blow drying my hair. When I called back the following day to speak with a manager (same man who helped suggest flipping my bangs to the other side in place of correcting them with a cut) he started by telling me how he had spoken with the stylist and me saying I wasn’t coming back made her feel defeated and I’m guessing that was her excuse for not wanting to fix it…? I was told they would only correct either the cut or color, but not both and that they were nice enough not to charge me the $30 in toner from the day before when they attempted to reduce the brassy color in my highlights. And I would not get a refund because I had already paid for the services. Horrible customer service and overall experience and I had to go somewhere else to get my hair re-colored and cut! Total waste of $135. I thought I’d give them a chance even after their unbelievable attitude towards a special needs child and its mother. I will never go there again nor would I recommend anyone else to go there unless they are one of my enemies that is.

I go to M Spa for many of my salon/spa needs. I have been seeing Jennifer Buck for my hair recently, and I am floored with how great of a job she does. She listens to my concerns and hair predicaments and always comes up with a creative and effective solution. My hair always looks natural, yet polished, and very healthy. I trust her 100% with my hair, which is a big deal considering my bad past experiences with other stylists at other salons. If you are in need of professional, reliable service with reasonable prices you need to try M Spa and request Jennifer!

Not impressed

I have been to the M Spa several times, a couple of them with a gift card. The massage therepists are great, while the amenities are just okay (not luxurious in any way). This last experience will likely be my last. I was given a gift card as a birthday gift and was looking forward to my 30 min massage and delux whirlpool pedicure.

The massage was fine and was followed by the pedi. I was expecting, as noted in their brochure, that the delux pedi included a reflexology massage - didn't happen. The pedicure was not at all relaxing and, for the lack of service (and personality), is way over priced.

When it was time to pay, I was told that the balance of my gift card could not be used toward the tips (nor can a credit/debit card). I found this to be absurd since the gift card is basically cash already in their hands. Not to mention the fact that I had been given enough to cover tip, which is how a gift of this nature should be given. I left there less relaxed than I went in - the exact opposite of how things should have worked out.

I have given them one star only because the massage therapists deserve a star, otherwise one star would seem too much. Whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE A GIFT CARD from this establishment. They have what is probably the most strict gift card policy in the business, and there is no flexability from the owner on this.
