In April of this year I bought a high preformance 3hp starter for my truck. This week I found that the solenoid needed replaced. First of all the starter was only guaranteed for 3 mons. Next, there is no name or numbers on the starter(red flag) ,,,finally NAPA found one to fit it,,,$110. Called the shop where I bought it,,,,was told to take it to a starter repair and they could fix it,,,,,NOT. I bought same starter from NAPA,,,wifh name/numbers and a 3 yr. warranty. Now the original cost at A&E was $134,,should have known then(red flag). New starter,,,$184. All in all,,,,not a good experience with A&E. Will not return or deal there again.
