the place looks nice the food isnt the best for a better price and better food hit up china sun everything is breaded and super greasy eek! a little over priced for the quality of food but the portions are big mostly pork everything maybe youll find something youll like

First, this restaurant is NOT buffet style. (There is another in Port Orchard that is.) We have eaten at China West several times plus order carry-out often since moving here a year ago. It has a nice "feel" to it, very family oriented. The food is very good, some of the best we've had in the Kitsap Co. area. Having come from Seattle, we have actually told the staff that their prices are almost too reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. My negative comments would be that often they do not seem to have enough staff, and the wait can be too long, especially for carryout. And I was a little disappointed to see them add Mexican food to the menu. When different types of menus are combined, it can take away from the uniqueness and quality. But I will be going there tonight. The good very much outweighs the negative.
