What a fabulous place to take in local history, great food and some spirits if you?re so inclined. A turn of the century bank turned in to a two story restaurant with one of the best prime ribs I have had in years. Jim the owner greeted me, Rich the bartender tended to my spiritual needs and Debbie served my food with an attentiveness rarely found in bigger restaurants. The second floor holds a wonderful view of the town and lake and just oozes history from the jugs on the floor and a map on the wall showing a historical view of the thumb. The only regret I have is that it was not warm enough to sit out on the porch.
