New owners took over Sandcastles in 2011. The place is cleaned up and a great stay. i would recommend to everyone. We have remodeled, replaced and painted everything. The beach is big and well maintained. And yes, I am also the Manager of the Resort. Check out ANY review after 2011. I challenge you lol.

The room was terrible, I mean disgusting. The upkeep was aweful. There was a sickening, musty smell that lingered in the room. The carpet was beige but it was soiled black in large areas from dirt. The windows wouldn't open and the air conditioning unit located on the inside had a huge hole. I didn't stay in the room, I couldn't, it was pitiful. Don't waste your money or time on this place. I had to call repeatedly to get even a partial refund of my money. It is true that the resort is on the beach (thats the only thing nice about this place is the location). But that would never make up for the shape of this room.

The upkeep on the room was aweful. Nevertheless, I didn't stay in the room. I couldn't, it was pitiful. I had to call repeatedly to get the owner to refund a partial amount of my money. The only thing I have to say good about this place is the location. It is true that the resort is on the beach. But that could never make up for the shape of this room.
