Three days later and I'm still dealing with the inept, pass-the-buck-on-our-fail "service" of this place.
Russell came out to fix a pit in my front windshield and, while replacing the glass, cracked the replacement glass he installed - and, in addition, bent one of my windshield wiper blades, to the point of non-function. He informed me he'd be back in two days to replace the cracked windshield; not great to have to drive with a 7" crack in my front windshield, but ok, I'll deal. When no one showed up at the appointed time I called Safelite, to be told that there was no order for service - that the claim was complete and had been closed! Uh, no, this needs to be fixed. The earliest we can come out is in 5 days. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was handed over to Tom Ford, who basically played "This isn't our problem, that's the quickest we can do the replacement and, no, we're not paying for the windshield wiper that won't work." Unreal! So now, three days later, I'm having to go to a new windshield place, AND pay my mechanic to fix the windshield wiper stem, with the hopes that my car insurance will reimburse.
One of the worst experiences I've had with a Savannah area business. And, if you check other web reviews of this place, you will see I'm not alone. Absolutely horrible.
