C.J. and Mary have remodeled their two buildings into one. You will be in a homey atomosphere from the moment you walk into the door. They always have Cokes in the bottle and C.J.'s coffee ready to serve. C.J. has been known to put on a pot of hot coffee on a cold January night waiting for a customer to get into a locked car...keys inside, of course! They have a fine assortment of furniture, old tools, memorabilla, and oodles of whatever you may be looking for to decorate your home or garden. Are you looking for a piece of glassware? Mary may have already gotten just that particular item. They have a lot of new venders since they've remodeled. Take your time to brouse. Have a cup of C.J.'s coffee at the family table. Go to Paul's Cafe for a meal just steps away and then come back to brouse some more! If you see a twinkle in C.J.'s eyes, you're right! He does enjoy his career in the antique business. He certainly loves his sweet, Mary and his family. But, come back in December to Ponchatoula for the annual Christmas lighting event. A certain twinkled eyed visitor who arrives via a fire engine will thrill all who believe! With Mary, who was volunteer of the year, and C.J. the jolliest of the antique shop, what more could you ask for when you go to visit Ponchatoula, America's antique city!!! I know! Visit the first weekend of November when they have Antique Trade Days, or the 2nd weekend in April when the Strawberry Festival happens! You won't regret your trip to this fine establishment!!
