We have a flat in San Francisco built in 1891 and Water Works refurbished both bathrooms including handling some tricky issues that arise in a house of this many years. In addition to replacing all hardware and the toilets, sinks, and bathtubs, there were dryrot issues, and lath that had to be handled when tiling the area. There was also a sewage back up problem and they fixed that on the fly! Fabulous results and the price was right! I would use these guys again in a second. I'm planning on going tankless so they're first on my list.

We sub-contracted with water works plumbing during our house remodel this past year and couldn't be more satisfied with the decision. The project was a major overhaul of a 50 year old house with galvanized plumbing. Water Works, relocated a laundry room (water, drain, gas, venting) into an interior double closet, demo'd the old laundry plumbing, re-plumbed two bathrooms and replaced our water main. The project was completed quickly, seamlessly, professionally, competently, and at a reasonable price. Will is the owner/operator of Water Works Plumbing and he just does quality work without compromise. He and his crew are honest, hard working, competent craftsmen who get the job done perfectly. Working with Will was almost too easy. He is a very intelligent, engaging tradesman who listens well, has creative ideas for difficult plumbing dilemmas, knows his limitations and shares them honestly, and puts his clients first and foremost. I told Will a rough idea of what we wanted, and he took it from there and completed the project in less than 2 days. Given the age of the house and the condition of the existing plumbing, he of course ran into road blocks along the way. Like a true professional, however, he came up with novel solutions and took care of the problems uneventfully, and without making them our problems! What sets Will apart from others in the field, aside from his skill and knowledge, is his continued interest in you as a client. The project is long from finished, but whenever I consult Will on plumbing questions or ideas he is there without question and happy to share his thoughts. Of important note, me and my wife felt completely comfortable and safe with Will and his crew in our house. He runs a tight ship and it was a pleasure to have him working on our home! I recommend Will without reservation to anyone with any type of plumbing need--large or small!

Waterworks installed a tankless water heater to replace our failing conventional unit and we couldn't be more pleased. I was fairly familiar with the pro's and con's of tankless systems but Will's expertise helped reassure me in my decision. For me, the big difference with Will was his willingness to listen to my concerns, needs and wants and then execute on a plan at a reasonable price. Most guys had a 'churn & burn' approach but he really thought about what I wanted and how to make it happen. The install looks more like a heavy duty commercial job than your typical (i.e. minimal) kind of home system. He even took it upon himself to put isolators between the unit and the wall to dampen sound in the adjacent dining room. Will's the man if I need plumbing done in the future.

We worked with Will to initially analyze and then install a tankless water heater. He was very up front and thorough about the cost / benefit analysis in installing a tankless water heater vs. a traditional heater. His team's work during the installation work at our home was then very thorough and professional. They made sure our water and heat were operating before they left at night (mid installation of the new heater) and stayed until we were satisfied with the level of pressure. He also returned to our home 3 days after the installation to investigate a leak we had. The leak was unrelated to any of the work his team had done; however, he wanted to make sure of their work. He then not only helped us find the source of the leak but provided a recommendation on getting it fixed. I would highly recommend Will and his team for their professional and thorough work. WIll is also a very nice, easy going guy who I felt comfortable having work in our home.

Will and his workers did a great job installing and explaining the features of our new tankless water heater. They started the work on time right away and restored our service in less than a day and a half. We couldn't be happier with the product and the friendly service that Water Works Plumbing provides.

I am the General Manager of a Sanitary Agency in the Bay Area and deal with contractors on a daily basis. Water Works Plumbing is a high quality outfit and would recommmend them to anyone. They plumbed my master bath, laundry room, and installed a new tankless water heater. Superior service!! In fact, when the City inspector arrived for an unrelated insepction, they commented on how great the tankless install was and that I obviously selected the right contractor. Water works plumbing ran gas lines to two existing fireplaces in our home which we were having converted to gas inserts. They made sure that the work was complete, professional done and efficiently completed manner. Will Bergren, the President, supervised all of the work and assured us that he would return if there were any problems. Ultimately there were no problems and we felt very good about the whole process.

Our hot water heater was leaking. We looked online and read the recommendations for Water Works Plumbing. Everyone was spot on about Will and his crew. They were very professional, honest and knowledgable. Will was able to provide us with the information we needed to make a decision to move to a tankless system. His installation crew were wonderful. We highly recommend them for installing hot water heaters. We also had Will install a pump to provide hot water quicker to our bathrooms that were further from the water heater and are very happy with this service as well.

Our water heater broke so we checked out different plumbers. Water Works is by far the most affordable, and more importantly their customer service is above and beyond what you'd expect. Will is extremely professional, friendly and honest. I will definitely call him for any plumbing issues that arise in the future!

Will did an exceptioinal job with timely fix, reasonable pricing, and courteous service. I would definitely go with him again if any other plumbing work is needed.

It is a joy to write a letter of recommendation for Will Bergren and staff. Will is an excellent licensed plumber, a man of integrity and upstanding morals, whose purpose is to please his customers. Our two year old tankless water heater was not working well. Will thoroughly examined it and to my surprise, called the manufacturer. Will convinced them to give us a brand new unit! If that wasn't enough, he customized our shower heads to accomodate our personal needs. Now the tankless water heater and our showers are providing the perfect shower experience. As I was walking out the door for a business trip, I saw the dreaded puddle next to my water heater. I worried about the mess that I would come home to, but took Water Works number with me. I spoke with Will Bergren and he assured me that he would be there when I returned, and he was. He was there with a new water heater that he was ready to install that evening. I was interested in a tankless heater and he gave me both the pro's and cons. I decided on the tankless and he and his crew showed up promptly at 8 AM the next day and completed the job. He carries a reputable line of pruducts, his workers are well trained, he tells them exactly what to do, and makes sure that they have done exactly what they were told. Hi was accessible to his workers and had access to manufacturers for questions at all times during the installation.

I had a tankless water heater, and seismic shut-off valve installed. I have now fire-safe and energy efficient hot water on demand. It was a pleasure to deal with Will Bergen.
