Great addition to Playa Vista! I love this little plaza, they seriously have everything now. Panini Cafe is a great Mediterranean restaurant. They have several locations throughout LA, so you might have seen it before. But this is the newest one to the chain. I think their food is pretty healthy, tasty, and most importantly reasonable.

The restaurant itself is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit outdoors, they also have a tent to cover you, so you can either keep it cool, warm, or stay away from the rain. They have TVs inside of the restaurant too, so you can always keep up with a game. They serve wine and beer, so you have something to sip on while you eat your food.

FOOD:
You must get one of their kebabs. You can get it with almost any kind of protein. They have chicken, beef, even fish. I am a huge fan of their chicken, which comes out a bright orange color (similar to the orange on the Panini Cafe sign). The chicken is extremely juicy and flavorful and comes with grilled onions and bell peppers. If that isn't enough, you also have your choice of basmati or pilaf rice, hummus, and a salad. A lot of food but it is all so delicious. And it is everything you need for a healthy and hearty meal. I am a huge fan of their basmati rice which is soft and tasty. You just need to get a perfect bite with a little bit of everything.

They also take out options, so you can bring your food home.

SERVICE:
Not the best. They're still new, so I'm anticipating that things get better with time. Our waitress forgot my glass of wine but the restaurant was pretty busy. She was kind enough to bring it out immediately as soon as I reminded her.
