Bought an appliance from them....

Bought an appliance from them. It broke while under warranty. They scheduled someone to come out, but couldnt get anyone out for 2 weeks. Then he shows up 2 hours late, and says that they didnt schedule him properly and that he will have to come back with a 2nd tech in another 2 weeks at the soonest. After waiting on hold for 25 minutes, then being transfered 3 times, I got no where other than realizing that Sears customer service is terrible, and their tech / warranty dept. is useless. Oh, and the simple fact that I will NEVER do business with Sears again. I really mean NEVER. So redicilous...

Sears In home repair service

I have been a customer of Sears for a number of years, my refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, compactor and front loading washer and dryer are all Kenmore brand. My previous washer and dryers were Kenmore. I thought I was moving a step up by purchasing the Kenmore front loading HE washer and dryer with pedastals. Sadly, the washer has been a problem from the get go and the repair persons have been less than friendly. Most recently we had a warranty discrepancy which resulted in my having the warranty department on one phone and the repair person on the other phone, each calling the other a liar. The local Sears repair man was insisting that the warranty was not covering the repair, while two different persons from the warranty department told me it would. The repairman left my home in a huff without fixing anything and thought he was doing me a favor for not charging me to come out in the first place. I got no satisfaction, and so I removed the Kenmore from my home and went to Home Depot and bought an LG with a 5 year warranty. I am incredibly dissapointed in Sears and their home service. This was just a shame as I have purchased Kenmore for years, and will now no longer do so. Because of the argument between warranties and repairman, I was told it would cost me $450 to repair my machine and that the warranty would cover it next time. No thanks, there won't be a next time. Sears and their repair staff have lost my business forever.
