If i could give this insurance company NO STARS i would .... your insured hit my car and left it undrivable and you are telling me it will take 3-5 days just to have someone come out to my house to check my car ?!?! How do i get to work and back and how do i take my daughter to school for the next week ?!? How can you leave someone stranded like that ?!? And everytime you ask to speak with someone they transfer you to management and you don’t get a call back. This is unbelievable and super unprofessional .. I’m sure they are quick to collect the insureds monthly payment !!!

Dishonest Practices, Dishonest People, Greedy and Unjust!

This insurance company is run by dishonest people. One of their clients ran into our van in our daughter's driveway. The back axle fell off and the van and tire were on the ground. Our van was in tip top condition with a rebuilt engine that looked like it came off the assembly line. Pearl Holding group sent their team of "independent" assessors to see what kind of damage was done. They said it was totaled. After many phone calls which were never answered, we decided to send faxes. I left messages on their anwering machine and finally was called. We were sent a letter stating that the van was a total loss and that they were going to give us a check for 1/2 the value of the van and also keep our van.

We in the meantime had a mechanic look at it and were told it needed an axle, new side door and body work but that it was certainly not a total loss.

We contacted the company saying so and said we would like to have the monetary offer they said they would give us but that we wanted to have the van fixed as we were told in writing by a certified mechanic in business that we could fix it and that it was not totalled as they were told by their "independent" assessors. We had to call and fax them repeatedly again and finally were called and told. "Sorry the offer stands. Accept 1/2 the value of our van and we take possesion of the van. Or if you keep the van you get "nothing"!

Since then we had the axle put on at our expense and the door is being replaced and the body work done at our expense. I have called them repeatedly. I then decided to call a Supervisor. I left a message about our case asking for a phone call. 5 days have gone by and still no phone call.

If you look at their website there is no street address just a post office box. You can't find them to visit the office to try and speak to anybody. They will not return our phone calls. I am in the process of talking to an attorney because here is the thing, it is the principle of the matter. This is an insurance agency that should be honest and fair with people. What they are doing is dishonest. The right thing to do is to admit that their assessors were wrong. Our van is now being driven and we are having the body work done which should be completed next week. We would like some compensation to cover the cost of the damage that their client has done to us! It seems they want to avoid doing the right thing, the honest thing to do. They want to get away with not paying for the damage their client did to us. If they do this to us, who else have they done this to? Who else will they do this to? Look for an insurance company that has high values and that stand by honesty and decency. This one certainly does not!
