Tthe staff and service were excellent. I am having spinal fusion surgery so I had a cervical MRI. I took the MRI to my surgeon, reputed to be one of the best in my area, and he said he could not do surgery on me with that MRI, there were gaps right where he needed to see details. He said the magnets in the machine at DPI were not as good as the ones in Memorial Hospital and so he sent me there for a 2nd MRI, each one cost a $300 copay. Interestingly enough, at DPI I had my clothes on for the scan, at Memorial they gave me a gown because they have found clothes have metal fibers that can cause irregularities. So I called DPI to ask for at least a partial refund, their MRI was deficient. It's very hard to get through so I left several messages. Finally today someone called me back, I forgot the name. I told him my story. He asked for the surgeon's name and where I went for the 2nd MRI and I told him. He then accused the surgeon of having me go for the 2nd one because he works in that hospital system and was just trying to bring in more revenue. He thinks the head of neurosurgery would do something as unethical as that even as we are friends of his family. I was driving at the time of this call and almost lost control I was so angry. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute and I will be calling my insurance company as well. And now I will go on as many social media as I can to let them know that DPI does not stand behind their work, I will tell all of my doctors and friends as well of the unprofessional comment made about my surgeon and definitely not to go to DPI. I hope a lot of people see this.



Around 30 minutes after I posted the above, I got a call from someone else at DPI. They said I am not entitled to any refund because I used the facilities and people performed duties. I agree, but they produced a deficient product and I was only asking for a partial refund until the integrity of my surgeon was questioned. Guess what, they overcharged me in the first place! I called my provider Humana to tell them Visa has already granted me a $300 refund and that Humana should also request a refund. That's when Humana told me my procedure was contracted to be $195 and they should not have charged me $300. Don't go to DPI.
