Provided by YP.comIncompetent veterinarian that commits malpractice by performing surgeries he is not familiar with. Pets have died. Do not use this vet!

Provided by YP.comLarry Britt has a well documented history of negligence and causing the deaths of animals. He did it again yesterday. He incorrectly performed a castration on a pig and perforated the abdominal wall causing the intestines to fall out. He took an hour to respond to the horrific scene and the pig ended up dying a horrific death. His license in Florida is currently on probation and he is no longer licensed in Alabama. This guy should not be allowed to practice at all.

Provided by YP.comHe killed my friend's pig because he didn't know the anatomical difference between a full-size pig and a mini house pig. This poor thing died horrible, terrifying death. No animal should have to experience this and no family should have to see this.

Provided by YP.comA dear friend of ours had his pet mini pig receive a botched neuter surgery resulting in a terrifying and painful death for the pet. My friend and his family are traumatized. After much research we have found that his "technique" for the procedure was inappropriate for this breed. The conditions under which the surgery was performed were unsanitary and unprofessional. This vet has had several lawsuits, there are articles easily found online about a history of letting pets bleed to death. His license is currently on probation. I have read much evidence condemning Dr. Britt's practices. Please save yourself and your pet from a possible traumatic experience, and find a different vet.

Provided by YP.comWe called Roadrunner Vet in Plant City, FL. At first they said $200. When I called back about a month later to schedule his appointment I explained Tommy is a house pig and they said it would only be $105,and they would just come to our home. It would be a simple procedure.
December 27,2017 comes 3:45 they show up on our door step fashionably late. They have my boyfriend hold him while he gave him a shot to put him to sleep. After 15 minutes of the shot barely working they give him another one. They tell me what I’m about to see will probably make me cry from his squealing so I leave the room.
When I returned 20 minutes later there was blood everywhere, they left and they didn’t even stich him up. My boyfriend is crying, they made him hold Tommy the entire time they were castrationing him, yet he came with 2 assistants.
15 minutes later Tommy is squealing running around going crazy. I call the vet and he said he should stop bleeding within 15 minutes. 10 minuets later I walk by to check up on him and his intestines are all over they floor. I call they vet panicking and he gets here an hour later.
If you know anything about mini pigs not every vet takes them. It’s 7 at night and everyplace is closed. When he gets here he starts performing surgery on my coffee table outside. His 2 assistants have no gloves on and are on their phones while holding a leg. We called 911 and there was nothing they can do. Over an hour later of us watching this he tells us Tommy has a 40% chance of living and then leaves us with a room FULL of bloody a floor and furniture and Tommy drenched in blood on the floor. The following morning he passed away.

Provided by YP.comSo my friend had this vet come to fix their pet and they literally killed it. They are very distraught and from my understanding the vet was extremely unapologetic

Provided by YP.comI own Privileged Critters Animal Hospital in Lakeland. On Easter Sunday afternoon, Dr. Britt came to my clinic and performed a "C" section on a little Yorkie. I could not reach my Vet and we do not normally do emergencies, but the owner of this dog did not have $1200-$1500 for an emergency hospital. I have no doubt the Yorkie would have died before Monday morning. The Yorkie is doing well. Dr. Britt is a large animal doctor, but he did a GREAT job!
