He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a member of both the Knee Society and Hip Society, highly-selective organizations made up of the most prestigious joint surgeons in the United States. He has served as the director of the Joint Institute at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, and is active in teaching and research. Emerson's focus is on primary hip and knee surgery, especially less-invasive techniques. He offers hip surgery using the anterior supine approach, which helps patients recover faster with less pain. He also offers partial knee implants and total knee surgery using custom instrument guides designed exclusively for each patient.

While my experience at TBI with Dr. Bosita and the Physical Therapy Department a there has been very pleasant, the staff in the front office there is pathetic! They have knack for losing information, not returning phone calls and poor communication within departments. They have lost and miscommunicated my information 3 times now since I started going there in September 2011. The Office Manager there is even worse. He has no PR skills and has no clue on how to deal with patient issues and improve his staff's interactions with patients when a patient complains. I think that the staff here is going to eventually hurt this business if they haven't already done so. I'm at the stage of making a decision on whether to have surgery with Dr. Bosita, but with the negative experience I've had with the staff there, I'm relunctant to make that decision. I'm afraid that after surgery, if I run into any kind of issues with pain or infection related, they won't even return my calls. They are incompetent, insensitive and unreliable. Doctors if you are reading this, you should consider evaluating your front office processes, your staff's interactions with your your patients, and make some major changes. Your front office staff is the biggest flaw at this practice.

ThanK You

My experiances with the Plano, Texas location of Texas Back Institute, has been as pleasant as could possibly be. My doctor, DR. Sharon Gibbs, MD has been outstanding in her efforts to ease my pain, and try to make me as functional as possible.

I have been seeing DR. Gibbs since 2003, and I would recommend DR. Gibbs, and Texasack Institute to any one needing medical help.
