Collin County Community College District is a public college located in Plano, Texas. The college offers certificates and associate degrees in criminal justice, culinary arts, e-business media, electronic design, electronic engineering technology, hotel and restaurant management, information systems cyber security, and interior and architectural design. Its work force education programs in nursing, dental hygiene, real estate and child development have been designated as exemplary by the state of Texas. It also offers distance learning courses in different division disciplines and special interest courses. The college district provides various extracurricular activities to students, such as the Honors Institute, Learning Communities, Phi Theta Kappa, Psi Beta, Student Government Association and Service Learning. Collin County Community College District is approved by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
