My 18 year old son worked at Cinemark Tinseltown in Pearl Ms in 2017 . He has since enlisted in the US Airforce Active Duty. His W2 has never been sent. My husband went there to speak with a manager for assistance and he did not even have the courtesy to speak directly to my husband. He gave a phone number to someone else and blew him off. Since then my son and husband have attempted to contact corporate office without success. Messages were left and we have not received a return call yet. We just had the pleasure of leaving another message. So I am posting my rant! My son/and husband have spent a fortune in Cinemark theaters. My son is now serving his country and Cinemark can’t even return a call nor send a W2 so we can simply help file his taxes before he goes overseas in 2 months!

I had a horrible experience at Yuba City, California Cinemark. My friend and I were accused of filming 50 Shades Freed. Before the movie even started. After a security came to talk to us about we said we weren’t and he said okay and left. After that an employee sat in our row a couple seats down literally watching us. Then she proceeded to walk over and sit a seat right by us and just watch us. After telling her we were not recording and offering our cellular devices for her to look at she said “No I’m not saying you guys are recording” and we told her “ then why are you just watching us we just want to enjoy our movie like everyone else” she left and then the security guy came and said that management wanted to speak to us we went and were accused again and we offered our cellphones and small clutch purse to check. They refused and said it’s a federal offense. I know that, that’s exactly why we would never do. They were literally accusing us with no proof. All because someone said we were but that person never came forward to testify. The assistant manager Zach didn’t know the right way to go about a situation like that and expected us to be all smiles after that embarrassment. They even said they had a fight there and other problems with people Actually recording and that they were having a very hard night. But I don’t think that because they think that they should just accuse someone the way they did.

I worked with one of the theaters. Human Resources and Payroll very helpful when I had a surgery and Had fraud on last paycheck. All resolved
