Dr Steven is the best foot Dr I had.I've been to 3 before him ,had several surgery that unfortunately made my feet worse.they were looking great n my pain was almost gone.unfortunately I moved back to Indiana n my feet are so bad its a struggle to do simply task. I miss this wonderful Dr .I wish there were more caring Drs like him. Thank you Dr Steven its been 4 years but I will always remember your kindness,and the professional way you treated all your patients. Sincerely no Kalinowski

He is an excellent podiatrist. The waiting room is a zoo. My wait time wasn't long, though, but the place is packed.

The worst doctor I have ever seen. Terrible staff, long, long wait and a bad doctor.

I would personally not recommend this doctor for any procedure. I experienced both physical and psychological damage. What was supposed to be a simple ingrown toenail surgery turned into a total nightmare that began in November, 2011, and is still going on. I wish I had looked at Dr. Berkeys ratings from other patients before I chose him. He over-cauterized my ingrown toenail with acid. This caused a large wound and a toenail that stopped growing. We went to Dr. Berkey for my son. He is Disable and barley walks. He put him on braces and now he is doing TONS better..... WE LOVE HIM.. He took so GOOD care of him. TY DR. BERKEY FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Went to Dr. Berkey with an infection and a small ingrown toenail. He removed the ingrown toenail, but over-cauterized the nail, meaning the phenol he used to kill the nail root, leaked over into the nailbed. Was in wound care for over a month, several visits to the ER with an open, bloody wound, many antibiotics, etc. Wound finally healed up, but nail has ceased to grow at this point. Two doctors told me it may never grow. My current doctor said to wait for it to completely die and fall off. Then I will have a toe with no toenail. All from something that should have been a simple surgery. I will never be able to wear open shoes w/out being humiliated and I can only imagine the pain and discomfort of having a toe w/out any nail. There are more details, but I can't put it all on here.

Went to Dr. Berkey a few weeks ago for foot pain. Staff was very professional; he did a great job explaining things to me, and while I'm not cured yet, I'm on my way. Thanks Dr. Berkey!

I have been to many doctors over the years for heel pain and had no relief so finally decided to see a specialist. Wow! What a difference! My experience with Dr. Berkey was a wonderful one. The office was beautiful, the staff were pleasant, and Dr. Berkey was very friendly and professional. He explained everything clearly and spoke to me like a real person.



The best part is I don't have pain for the first time in 10 years!

After going to many, many podiatrists and some orthopedic doctors, I still continued to suffer with my aching feet. I had spent so much money with all the other doctors and nothing they ever did helped me in the slightest bit. Not to mention all the time and years of my life living miserably with foot/feet/walking/standing pain.

A few of my friends had gone to Dr. Berkey and raved about how wonderful he was. Well, I didn't quite believe all they were saying until I tried Dr. Steven Berkey myself. I must say that he is most sincere, knowledgeable, caring, responsible, and the finest surgeon I have ever known.

After I presented all my problems to him, including all of my past history, he xrayed my feet and ankles in his office. He listened intently, sent me for a few more detailed diagnostic tests, (MRI, plus 2 other tests I can't remember there names) and he found out the diagnosis. NOBODY had ever gone into as much detail as he did; he was the only one who diagnosed and identified my problem. He was unbelieveably correct and perfect!! After a few minor procedures and treatments, I am proud to say that I'm up and out of my house every day. It's been about 18 months - 2 years now and I've NEVER experienced any further pain in my feet. I am cured and I live each day to the fullest. I have my feet back again and I can live each day the way I choose, and not have my feet tell me that I can't. Dr. Berkey and his staff are simply the very best you can ever find!
