Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center, earlier known as Girls Incorporated of the Berkshires, provides guidance, support and advocacy services for girls and their families. Its programs address community action, teen pregnancy prevention, math and technology, fitness, economic literacy and financial concepts. The center s after-school program serves children in the age group of 5 to 14 years and offers drug and alcohol prevention education. Its counseling program develops leadership, communication and socialization skills. The center s facility includes a gymnasium, tennis court and swimming pool. Additionally, the center conducts luncheons, conferences, workshops and craft fairs. Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center is located in Pittsfield, Mass.
