Founded in 1979, Training Wheels is a child development center for children of ages up to 5. It offers classes in art, music, computer, physical education and Spanish language. The center is certified by the Department of Education. Training Wheels provides opportunities to participate in a variety of events. It offers prereading, premath and early childhood programs. The center administers the Total Child program that nurtures development through plays. Training Wheels works in collaboration with Manchester Academic Charter School, which offers before- and after-school and summer enrichment programs. Located in Pittsburgh, Training Wheels additionally provides food services. The center has a team of trainers and facilitators.
