I purchased a Hvac unit from Staab n sons n had called to have it checked because temp wasn't reaching setting....I was charged for this and unit is under a year old! They "changed belts n filter" n said it was maintenance without my ok since nothing was wrong with unit!!! I know hvac units need maintenances but this is under a year old and I could have had the filters changed a lot more reasonable than their pricing! Would never recommend or use again!

They came when they said they would. The bill lined up with what I was told over the phone. Fabian was courteous and polite. No swearing even though I do and I wouldn't have minded. He did what he could to offer more optione , but were out of my price range and he didn't smother me. I don't like it when my house isn't running smoothly but they worked it out. recommend

DONT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!! A ONE day job turned into 4 days. I had to cancel important things & lost work! on top of that,the so called manager is very rude because they "lost money" on my job.Maybe if their workers were more on point or if an actual manager was here to manage their slow workers then the job would of been done as scheduled. Oh & the main plumber tried to lie and blame us for not having a certain part even though "materials were included" he lied to his boss saying oh we have to come back another day because of this "piece" meanwhile they had a ton more to do!!! & when I said something about it, they rushed back in & tried to do more work because they were trying to leave early! Very dishonest!!They also will try to rip you off by doing so called "extra" work and bill you for it without even discussing it. Usually you say hey I have to do this but it will cost an extra $100.Not do it 1st then add it to the bill!!! BEWARE OF THESE RIP OFFS! Not even worth the 1star

Clifford was phenomenal in terms of efficiency, ingenuity and flexibility. I had a surprise visit and inspection from our gas company while Clifford was doing other jobs and as each problem was identified by the inspector, he immediately was able to fix it, all within the original time estimate. To summarize, probably $1500 or more of work that other plumbers would charge was all done for under $600.00. I cannot tell you how impressed I was and how impressed I am with a company that was wise enough to hire such a skilled plumber and obviously created a culture of independence in their workforce that he felt comfortable helping me out until every problem was solved without having to worry about some corporate headquaters keeping tabs on him. As always our tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. He identified the problem and solved it quickly and efficiently. When we told our tech that we would only be home a short time he was there and completed the job in our time frame. We don't always see that and it was refreshing and very professional.

Very happy with repair visit. I notified Staab after reading in the Tribune-Review that their company was awarded The Torch Award. Their pricing for labor was very fair. The plumber, Cliff, was knowledgeable, nice and cleaned up the area in which he worked. Extremely satisfied!!!

I was really impressed by Bill Gerst professionalism. From the time that he walked through the door until the time that he left, he had a positive attitude, which made me feel comfortable with him putting in our hot water tank. When a customer has to purchase a large item such as a hot water tank, it's overwhelming; mainly the financial stress during the holidays, or actually anytime. No one expects to be replacing things like this, so when the do need to, it's really nice to know that there are professionals out there, who are very nice like Bill.
