Heinz History Center, located in Pittsburgh, is a history museum that operates in association with the Smithsonian Institution. The history museum's Smithsonian wing has the western Pennsylvania Sports Museum section along with a special collections gallery. The gallery features Smithsonian's First Ladies, and Political Role & Public Image exhibits. The museum features various exhibits, such as information regarding underground railroads. The center provides information on more than 250 years of western Pennsylvania s history.
