July (2nd week of June). He said he could look at it & have it fixed by then if was truly just a water pump\impellor problem. Took him the boat. a week later he calls & says he doesn't see an issue. It is pumping 15psi, the water pumps out of the propeller, that he found a wire disconnect & reconnected, and then that he disconnected the Water Gauge in the dash as it was leaking water under the dash. He charged just over $100 for this, and said it would cost just over another $100 to take it to the river & test it. I said I could test it over the weekend & bring it back Monday if the motor still beeps at me. Tested it & it still beeps. Called him on Monday to advise I would be dropping the boat back off & got a story of how he is now too busy to correctly finish the job he started already & promised to have ready. I then found out he doesn't have a computer to hook it up to as he would have to take it somewhere else to do this. he is just a shade-tree\backyard mechanic. I would not recommend him after this.
