Worst salon visit ever!

The WORST salon I have EVER been to! I went in to have my roots touched up and to have more highlights added to my hair. Also, I was in need of a trim. The stylist, Brittany, seemed to be quite inexperienced, although she seemed very friendly...at first! She said my hair was the longest she had ever worked with (my hair WAS to my waist). She seemed to be having a hard time with my hair since she got it tangled into a giant knot which she asked me to detangle myself. I detangled it and figured the problems were over. However, I ended up having to detangle it multiple times during my visit. Then, when she rinsed my hair, she got a funny look on her face and she called another stylist over to consult at which time she informed me the my roots turned bright red (they were supposed to be dark blonde). Then they decided that they would need to add a toner to correct the problem. Unfortunately, it did not correct the problem. At that point, she began cutting my hair. I still wasn't freaking out at that point because I figured she wasn't done yet and that she was still going to do something to fix the color. However, she then put my hair under the dryer without doing anything else to fix my hair! And I caught a glimpse of how short she had cut my hair! (She took off a good 8 inches when it was supposed to be no more than 2 - 3 inches...my hair used to fall to my waist, it's now at the middle of my back) At that point, I interjected and said "you aren't going to leave my roots like that are you" to which she replied "it's not that bad, I don't know what your so upset about...all your grey hair is covered". I was absolutely mortified as I pleaded with her to fix it as tears poured out of my eyes. She said there was nothing else she could do. I said there must be something she could do and she said there wasn't. My continued crying apparently annoyed her because she said " look....do you want me to finish drying your hair or not?" I said I "guess not then since you don't seem like you want to" and then she handed me a bill for $165!!! I said..."you aren't seriously charging me full price are you. I shouldn't be charged at all. My hair is ruined" to which she replied "if you don't pay, I'll have to call security!" (Even though I never refused to pay) I asked for a manager and was told that the manager was off and I would have to pay then I could call the manager the following day if I still wanted to complain!!! So, I paid and left crying...even though the receipt states that they guarantee satisfaction on all services! After multiple calls to the corporate office and after speaking to the store manager, her manager, and her manager's manager; I was told that a refund check would be mailed to me. I explained that wasn't going to fix my hair and that they should also pay the cost to fix my hair. They refused! So, I'm stuck with clown hair and I won't hold my breath for the refund to to maybe arrive. We shall see...either way, the damage is done!



And P.S. When I got home from the salon, I had to cut a lock of hair that she completed missed cutting...one lock of hair was left 8 inches longer than the rest!!!!!!

This is just my personal option, but if you love your hair or even just like your hair a little bit...I would not go to Regis!!!!!! I learned the hard way... It's going to cost me a few hundred dollars for corrective coloring and I have to wait a week! Ha! I guess I won't be leaving my house this week!!!!
