Minh altered my gown for my son's wedding. The bridal salon insisted I needed to order a much larger size, I was concerned with the amount of work needed on the gown. When I went back for a fitting I was thrilled with the fit and look. Minh had to reconstruct the entire gown including the bust line, the top of the gown was very detailed, the darts she out in were not visible. I have passed Mom is card out to brides at bridal salons for alterations. Her prices are reasonable and fair, do not hesitate to see her. She will also discuss prices with you prior to the work being done, no surprises!

This lady used to be in Dormont and then in Parkway Center Mall (my mom used to go to her when she was reasonable). Her new location is in Greentree, which is convenient, but she is way overpriced. I took a bridesmaid dress to be shortened to wear to another wedding. For shortening the hem and taking in the shoulders, it was $80. The dress was only $99 at David's Bridal! I decided to do it anyway because she said how good she was. Flash forward to me picking it up (she never called to say it was done). She said she had to put a slip in the skirt because the slit in the back was ripped (I knew this but it wasn't noticeable and a few stitches would have done the trick just fine). Charged another $20!! I asked why she didn't call first and she said her "other customers just pay, I don't call". She said she could take it out but then I wouldn't have the dress in time and who knows what damage would have been done. In between this, my sister takes a wedding dress she bought from an expo for minor alterations, to see how much she would cost. She tells her $300-400 (dress was $200). My sister took it to another seamstress with much lower overhead and it cost a fraction of that. Who knows what she would have added at the end to that dress! I've never seen anyone else in the store when I've gone so I feel as if she looks for other stuff to do to the clothing she already has there to make up for the lack of business. Will not be returning to her again!
