Design and create in the Art Studio, often alongside working artists. Young ones can explore colors, shapes and textures for their developing minds in the Nursery, Visit MAKESHOP, our tinkering space, to learn about real tools and materials such as wood, sewing machines, circuits and more. The Kindness Gallery, Garage and Waterplay round out the permanent exhibits. But not so fast - a rotating slate of temporary exhibits and programs such as cultural traditions and artists, and amazing interactive art round out the offerings. Next door at MuseumLab, our space for kids 10+, you can go deep on art projects, cool tech and making projects from laser cutting to embroidery to animation. MuseumLab is only open Saturdays & Sundays, noon - 5:00 pm.Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and MuseumLab reopened on Saturday, June 12, 2021, with new open hours, new exhibits, timed ticketing and more...
