After going in-person 2 days in advance to confirm that my truck would be available for pick-up, I got a call at 7:45 AM moving day that my 9 AM rental would, in fact, not be available and was instructed to call Customer Service. Customer Service wasn't open for 15 more minutes, and the CSR for Budget corporate was horrendous - even asked me "You can't change your move-in day?" after THEIR screw-up. It took the inventory manager over 2 hours to call me back with an option of another truck, further outside of the city, well after my scheduled pick-up time. Bad business, bad customer service - just a mess all around. While some of this wasn't the fault of this particular agency, I don't understand how it becomes my problem on the morning of my scheduled and confirmed pick-up that they don't have the truck needed. Shouldn't it be their responsibility to track it down? Use this company at your own risk... you may wind up running around the day of your move trying frantically to find another rental.
