Completely agree with the other reviewer. I was on vacation and came down with the stomach flu. We went to PM ER because it was 11:00 p.m. and we were not aware of any other options. They did not take insurance, but said I could try to be reimbursed. The paperwork they gave was not sufficient to satisfy the insurance company, and they would not return the many calls I placed to them. I ended up paying the entire bill out of pocket...$700!

BEWARE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT BELIEVES IN GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ! They will tell you all the paperwork you need will be given to you for insurance claims, but that is far from the truth. You will even be told they have a website that provides all the information you need to "beat the insurance companies at their own games". Read that site carefully before proceeding! If you are fine paying lots of cash and getting no support on the back end for filing then go right ahead. Just know that after paying you will be given no detailed statements or medical codes that the insurance companies will want in order to process a claim. You will also be told that if you so much as raise your voice at anyone all you will hear is a dial tone after they hang up on you. While I'm not a fan of insurance companies either (who is), these people are insurance haters and their lack of concern for clients getting reimbursed only benefits the insurance companies (and punishes their patients). After spending a lot of money for a simply injury (although I will say the care was top notch) AM/PM refuses to even consider providing us with basic information that would facilitate our insurance claim, even though it would probably only take them 5-10 minutes to help out. A VERY POOR business model that will not survive in the long run. IF YOU ARE FILING AN INSURANCE CLAIM POST TREATMENT CONSIDER GOING TO MARYVILLE or KNOXVILLE and find a reputable clinic or hospital that cares about making sure its patients are reimbursed by their insurance companies or at least pays someone to pretend that they do.
