My family and I were patients of American Dental Service of Phoenixville. They recently applied for a credit card in my name and on my behalf from a healthcare financing company. This was done without my knowledge or authorization and there was no valid reason to expect I wanted or needed credit. The first time I realized this was done was when I opened my mail to find a credit card with a high credit limit issued by a healthcare financing company. I am extremely upset that a trusted medical provider would use my personal information, including my social security number, without my permission and would fraudulently obtain credit on my behalf. I am very concerned over this seriously unethical practice and would not recommend this dentist to anyone.
