They just filled up with Freon gas without checking for possible leaks
I paid $120.79

April 10, 2018 - AC not cooling again!
They said it's the valves (High & Low) without checking the hose
I paid 110.52

June 6, 2018 - AC not cooling again!
This time they said it's the hose!
Quoted me $1,045

The people at Xpress Auto are amazing! Super nice and go out of their way for you. I won't be taking my family's 3 cars anywhere else. Don't get ripped off by the big NationalChains. Go to Xpress Auto.

If they didn't know how to fix my car, they should've just said so. My car is still making the same sound. We even told them before we left that the sound was still there. They said that the more I drove it the sound would go away. Nope. The sound was still there. My car still needed to be fixed. I took it back in and they said it was something different that would cost an additional 1,600. I had to walk away since I had just dropped 1,300 on the same sound that they claimed to have fixed. I went to the dealership and they told me i should ask for a refund cause not only did xpress auto not do their job, they made things worse. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME I should ask for a refund. But of course xpress automotive won't admit to it and will not issue me my refund. If you want to save your time and money, do not go to xpress automotive. I went to them before this and never had a problem. But now? No way. To think I trusted them. Never again.

The Real Facts!!!

Dear Richard E. Your sister Stormy E. came into the shop for repairs in November which totaled $1,824.01 after I gave her a discount of $350.00 after hearing her story of being a single mom and wanted to work out a payment plan. Stormy wrote me a check for $200 in November and it BOUNCED. Then she wrote me a check for $500 for January 2nd and it also BOUNCED. Stormy brought her car in for additional work, and I told the shop manager not to perform any work and that per Arizona law (ARS33-1023) I would be able to hold the car for payment. I was also able to sell auto for payment. Your sister came in for her car on 1/5/15 where she was informed that I was holding her car for non payment. She called the police, where they were shown the invoice and two bounced checks and the AZ law. I was informed that the City of Phoenix does not enforce said law and was advised to take your sister through the court system for payment. After all said and done, your sister agreed to pay me $150 a month which would take her 12-months to pay her bill. It must be nice to ring up an $1,824 bill on a repair and allow her 12-months to pay, and this makes me a bad shop how. Also your statement of three hours to get her car is false for I have a copy of the police report and she was there for 38 minutes. And the cherry on top came from your sister when after the police left, she asked us to fix her car so she could pass emissions. I passed on this. You also forgot to mention your sisters rude and inappropriate comments made to the shop. Hats off for standing up for your sister, but you don't have all of the facts. Thank you, Xpress Automotive

CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. If I could give negative stars, I would. Today (10/6/2014) I drove by Xpress Automotive & noticed their sign "$9.99 oil change". I thought, "Wow! What a great deal." So, I go inside for an oil change. Immediately, I am told, "Your vehicle calls for synthetic oil." I've never heard this before, but took the guy at the counters word for it since I like supporting small businesses in Ahwatukee. I ask the guy how much extra that would cost and he stated, "That will cost double." So, I'm thinking, "No bid deal, that would come out to around $20 bucks" and proceeded with the service. Here is the shocker. When I check out, the guy says, "That will be $75.15." I almost fell to the floor with a heart attack. I'm not a mathematician, but double $9.99 means $19.98. $75.15 is SEVEN times the amount their big sign in the front advertised - Bait and switch big time!!! I am furious and will never step foot in that place again. I encourage everyone else to do the same. I feel like I got sucker punched in the gut. THAT IS THE MOST MONEY I'VE EVER PAID FOR AN OIL CHANGE IN MY LIFE. How much did this business pay to get the "Best of 2012" Foothills award!!?? What a scam!
