The move went very well. I am happy with the move and the movers! Chris and Richard did a great job with the move! I will definitely use them again.

These movers were awesome. I called them out last minute and they got me moved with no problems. Everyone should call them because you'll be in good hands.

Without going in to detail I moved 2 times in the past 14months and each time I used SW Movers. I've been very happy with their service. The first time was great, the second time was good but not as good as the first. They sent some dude that had a really bad limp. I asked him what happened to his leg and he said he was shot. Hmmm that didnt make me feel to good since he was in my house but he was a nice guy. Just not as fast as the first two guys they sent me.

This weekend will be the third and final time since we now bought a house. I asked them to send me their best so we'll see how it goes but like I said both times I've used them it was well worth the money. I'm going 4 stars for now. I'll write another review after this weekend and see if they get 5.

DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS and here is why.



I ordered a 26ft truck.. Sent 16ft.

At some point later while left standing around a two man crew showed up and within 10 minutes I knew I was in trouble. One of the guys was with them for a week and had no idea what he ws doing and even worse.. The Team "Leader" was only with them a short time longer.

Within 15 minutes the lead and I were face to face because he wouldn't load boxes.. Only couch cushions and pillows in Granny's attic. In the end the load was so bad I stopped the loading and called and had a supervisor come to the house to oversee the last of the loading.



Because of the lousey load I was left with many piecesof furniture which could not be moved without my spending more money on a uhaul to finish the move. Boxes and pillows I can move in the car. Furniture I can't. It got worse.



Once to the new location the unloading began. Now at this point I mention that I furnished an appliance dolly for them to move my larger pieces. Thay had only small commercial dolly's. The lead did not want to use it which is why my side by side refer and my front load dryer ended up falling off the hand truck half way down the trucks ramp damaging both.



Need I say more.? And look them up on the BBB. They say they are accredited. They are NOT.



And my move and others like it are the reason they are not.

Everything went exactly how I thought it would go! They did a very good job moving my furniture without no damages and were very quick at what they do!

They were fabulous! This was our 2nd move with Southwest Movers. The crew moved quickly and were very efficent!

BAD MOVING COMPANY!! They arrived on time and finished the job in under 4 hours. However, their main concern was getting a "tip" and they suggested $100.00 per mover. Their were four movers. So far I have had excessive damage to my household goods e.g.broken lamps, pictures, etc., and found numerous items out of boxes, just sitting in the container. This is not a professional move. I could have done this myself.

HORRIBLE! Do not use this company. Totally unprofessional. The whole experience was a nightmare. Two of the three movers were NOT careful with our stuff and when we asked them to be more careful they got a total attitude. They were making rude comments about us behind our backs but were not quiet enough that we could not hear them. They put a scratch in the wood floors of our new home. It was a bad experience and by NO way could I recommend this company.

sw movers prices are low.because they deduct most of their cost of doing business. from the paychecks of their reluctant employees.id tell him.i dont think it wise to entrust your belongings to a man (mover) who may have just found out that his paycheck was shorted.sw movers needs to foll ow fair trade and labor practices.a fairly paid mover is a honest mover.unfortunately the same cant be said for sw llc owner.

This company was hired for a last minute move and I was very impressed. Their names were Shawn and Antonio - they were on time, did their job, did it quickly and efficiently. They moved everything in 3 hours and it was only 214.00. I was expecting a hidden charge but no- I was very impressed! No complaints here.

2 men were at my house on time, got started RIGHT on schedule, did a walk-through to take inventory of what was being moved. Everything associated with the actual move was done relatively smoothly - however, the crew leader kept hinting that he's working so fast and hard so we will give them a bigger tip. he mentioned about 10 times in the 5 hours they were moving/unloading that if it werent for tips, they wouldnt be at the job, and the REALLY good days, they make 100$ an hour.... i find that extremely rude to put so much pressure on the client for a good tip - not to mention, most likely a complete exaggeration.



a few cons: did not put my bed frame together properly, got my microfiber couch extremely dirty because they did not wrap it. dinged up a few tables. We're about half way through the unpacking process, and did not find one thing broken. so, in my opinion, things went pretty smoothly.

AWFUL!!!! They took my lamps and fountain apart, then didn't bring all of the pieces, smashed my glass cabinet, used my phone charger...and it was gone when they left, many missing and broken items. When I call to find out what is being done, I'm told to contact the police!

DO NOT hire this company. they DO NOT do not background checks. They sent a convicted felon into my home. I caught him trying to steal from me and he did end up getting away with a few things. After filing a police report i found that he served 5 years for theft and has a long history of arrest (drugs/assult/theft). And at the time i moved he had a warrant out. I attempted several times to talk to the moving company about this and they just kept saying they are an equal opportunity employer and would hang up on me. .

So I read all the reviews because I wanted to do my due diligence before choosing a mover. I've never used a mover before and I didn’t know what to look for and I also needed to do it on the cheap. It seemed like every mover had the same mix of bad vs. good reviews and having experience with HR and labor issues I know that a few bad employees can sour a lot of customers and ruin it for the good employees so I figured I'd just have to pick a cheap mover and hope I got the good ones. I will admit that I don’t have a baby grand piano or Tiffany jewels and my predominantly IKEA furniture can take a scratch or two so I didn’t have much to lose here. That being said, I was more than happy with my choice. They showed up on time, were extremely helpful and friendly, didn’t milk the clock, and didn’t break anything. Some reviews said they charged for stairs but they didn’t which was good because my old place and new place are both 2 stories. The cost was what they quoted and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them – just make sure to ask for Joe and Will.

The movers were unprofessional, sloppy, had no experince in moving funiture. Broke glass table, scrached funiture...and worst of all STOLE my husbands jewerly, cameras, coins ect. We had our boxes taped up and after they left we discovered a box cut open, with our stuff gone. We notified the company right away, it has been 2 months still haven't gotten our glass for the table. The company basicly told us to get screwed on collecting any kind of resolution on the jewerly, they will not even give us the Bonds Co. they supposedly use. They said we should have checked the trucks (we had 2, with 4 men) to make sure they didn't leave anything. REALLY? This company is the worst, I think they hire people off the streets for 1 or 2 days. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM if you don't want your stuff stolen.

Courteous, congenial, professional... Southwest Movers is easily the best moving company I have ever had the pleasure of using. Moving is an extremely stressful undertaking and they made it less so. Ray, Melvin and Manuel were an outstanding crew and I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a moving company. I cannot say enough great things about them. Truly awesome!

Our quote from the office was inaccurate. The bill ended up being $200 more than quoted. The movers struggled with the basics. It was not the professionalism we had received from other moving companies here. They were slow, and argued over how to move the furniture. Used twine to strap the furniture into the truck. They used our hose to put water in their truck because it wouldn't start. Pretty bad experience.

I hired Southwest Movers to help me during my move on Sunday 1/24/10 and they were fantastic! Ray and Jose were the best crew ever and they have friendly office personnel. They were fast but cautious! They were very efficiant and experience and deffinantly felt comfortible with them moving my very belongings. Would recommend them 100%
