I've worked for Shampooch for about 8 months now and I've loved everyday we treat every dog that comes into the shop with the respect they deserve. We give the same amount of time to the first dog as the last dog of the day. The groomers treated my dog the same way who was very scared the first time she was here but after the seond time was perfectly fine because of how friend the groomers are.

I have been taking my dogs to Shampooch and the owner's other pet grooming shops for over 15 years. I will NOT take them anywhere else. My "girls" all look forward to being pampered like royalty at Shampooch. The groomer does an excellent job on my two Shih Tzus, and they are both, full-coated. Not an easy breed to bathe and groom when they have long coats. My girls come out of the shop show-ring ready and are happy as well. The owner's employee, the groomer of my girls, listens intently to my needs for the dogs, and proceeds accordingly. When you stack up grooming skills, customer relations, animal treatment, and price, you will find Shampooch to be the very best in the business. I feel that I have can make these comments, as I have been taking my dogs Shih-Tzus and full-coated Cocker Spaniels-to Kathy's shops for over 15 years. Great experience. Every time.

DO NOT GO TO SHAMPOOCH! I took my two little dogs, Yorkie and Maltese to get groomed and they gave me back the wrong dog - my little Maltese, Bentley. WHAT A NIGHTMARE for both myself and the other dog owner. They have no emergency phone number for after hours (Closed on Sunday/Monday) so if you bring your dog on a Saturday late you are in deep trouble. Your only option is to leave numerous phone messages as well as a message on their Shampooch Facebook. But unless you are very persistent, you won't get a call back for 2 days. I didn't give up and I finally found a phone number of the Owner (Kathy Vail) of Shampooch and when I called she first admitted she was the owner and then hung up on me. Then when I called back she denied she was and hung up on me a 2nd time. 3rd time I called I left a message explaining my panic situation and she never called me back. One of her groomers did call from their store to arrange to get our dogs back. she was nice but I was even madder when I learned that the owner didn't want to deal with it until the next day. OMG - Unbelievable. The other dog owner was in a panic as well to located someone who could help, even called the police for help! DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO SHAMPOOCH - scary and horrible experience!! Worst was the way in which the Owner of Shampooch in Chandler handled this scary, horrible situation. What if my dog or the other dog owner pet had an illness or needed medication or was allergic to a certain food - and not able to contact someone to get help. Don't take that chance with this Salon or Owner!!!
