They charge for the chips and ...

They charge for the chips and salsa which is complimentary at La Barquita Restaurant which is two doors down. I would recommend La Barquita Restaurant!

Could work on

Its right off the street, small driveway to get to the back for parking. No one was at the counter to greet, stood there waiting for someone to seat us.
Were given our menus by the hostess, but still waited a while for waitress to get drinks or even to bring chips ( thought they forgot about us) which they charge for chips.
Food was really good, good size drinks. Went to pay and girl at counter was talking on a non business call, I had to ask for my credit card receipt and she gave me somebody's else's.

Authentic Mexican Food

Rosita's Place reminds me of the family Mexican food restaurant establishments that were prominent in the valley when I was growing up. Way before the chain restaurants came to town. The food here is what real Mexican food is all about.

Good food

Good food. The ambiance is not great, but it's what you would expect at a mexican restaurant. The staff is good. The salsa is muy caliente.
